New puppies for Alaska!

Today was the day Alaska decided to give birth! Her labor was about 7 hours long and she now has 10 strong and beautiful puppies!

Her labor started around 11:30 and ended at about 6:30. Throughout the whole thing, she remained calm, and with each new puppy, her mom instincts kicked in and she cleaned and nursed them. I couldn't be prouder of her and am excited to raise these puppies. It's going to be a lot of work but i'm excited for it and ready for the challenge :)
